Piping is the part of the system nobody sees, and every leak starts there. We braze copper under nitrogen, weld MS lines to drawing, pressure test every circuit and insulate it properly.

What is included
Copper refrigerant lines
Sized to the manufacturer's tables for the run length and capacity.
Brazing under nitrogen
Nitrogen flows through the pipe during brazing to keep the inside clean.
MS chilled water piping
Headers, risers and branch lines with valves and fittings.
Pressure testing
Each circuit is held under pressure and checked before it is insulated.
Insulation
Closed-cell insulation on refrigerant lines and proper lagging on chilled water lines.
Drain piping
Condensate drains laid to the right slope.
Four steps from enquiry to handover
Route survey
Pipe routes, lengths and supports are planned around the structure and other services.
Fabrication and laying
Pipes are cut, brazed or welded, and laid on supports.
Pressure and leak testing
Every circuit is pressurised and checked for leaks.
Insulation and handover
Lines are insulated, labelled and handed over with the test record.
Copper or MS?
Each carries a different fluid and is joined a different way.
| Copper | MS | |
|---|---|---|
| Carries | Refrigerant | Chilled or condenser water |
| Used in | Split, ductable and VRV/VRF systems | Central chilled water plants |
| Joined by | Brazing or flaring | Welding or flanges |
| Pressure tested with | Nitrogen | Water |
| Insulated | Along its full length | On chilled water lines |
Typical applications
VRV/VRF systems
Long refrigerant runs with branch joints
Chilled water systems
MS headers and risers
Split and ductable units
Short copper runs done neatly
Plant rooms
Pump and equipment connections
No circuit leaves the site untested.
Questions about Copper and MS piping
Why is copper brazed with nitrogen?
Heating copper in air forms scale inside the pipe, which later blocks filters and damages compressors. Flowing nitrogen through the pipe while brazing prevents it.
When is MS piping used?
Mild steel piping carries chilled water or condenser water in central plants. The refrigerant itself runs in copper.
Do you take piping-only work?
Yes. Piping can be a separate scope for owners and for other HVAC contractors.
